Welcome to my site, I hope you are having a good day. My name is Lidia and I am an emerging artist from North Carolina.

My art is a blend of realism and abstraction that expresses my unique view of the world. I love playing with colors and moving paint to achieve layered, textured effects. My subjects are often close-up and representational, their colors and shapes merging into colorful abstract backgrounds. The interaction between the subject and its environment represents the narrative we tell ourselves about the events and objects in our life. My work is influenced by an early love of impressionism and Japanese art, later followed by a fascination with abstraction and the expressive and textural style of the modern landscape.

I work out of my home studio in Wendell, NC.
